Twin Towers General InformationTwin Towers Correctional Facility is a unique complex built
on 10 acres of land with buildings that contain just under 1.5
million square feet. Twin Towers consists of two towers, a medical
services building, and the Los Angeles County Medical Center
Jail Ward.Jail Marriages
Before a jail marriage can be performed at Twin Towers the marriage packet but be signed and notarized by the inmate. Once the marriage license is purchased a written request along with a copy of the marriage license must be faxed to the unit commander so that a background check can be performed. Based on the results of a background check
the unit commander will either approve or deny the request.
Once the request is approved the unit commander will contact the fiancée letting her know when the marriage can be performed. The marriage is performed on a visiting day over the phone, there are no special provisions made for jail weddings.
Inmate Notarizations
Notarizations are performed Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ; 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday 7:00 A.M. -1:00 P.M. ; 2:30 P.M. - 4:00 P.M.
